We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a leading Turnaround and Restructuring firm headquartered in the Midwest. Our client is a well-established, nationally recognized organization seeking to strengthen their Chicago office with a senior leadership hire within their Turnaround & Restructuring / Performance Improvement practice (10 years’ experience). This individual will join a growing and high-performing restructuring team that has achieved strong success and sustained momentum in recent years.
The ideal candidate we are targeting will be from a larger organisation such as the Big 4 or smaller specialised T&R organisations.
Responsibilities
- An entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative character is required.
- Develop deep expertise in complex financial restructurings, distressed M&A, and operational turnarounds, 13-week cash flows, Chapter 7/11 and liquidity management.
- Work across a number of industries such as Manufacturing, Technology, Transport, Consumer, Energy and Healthcare e.tc.
- Have a strong book of business ($500,000 ) and immediate network of contacts in the space.
- Interface with clients to discover their business challenges with the expectation of travel, dependant on the client.
- Perform quantitative and observational data analyses for turnaround, restructuring or bankruptcy situations.
- Create and present client recommendations.
Qualifications
- CPA/CFA/CTP qualifications are preferable however not required
- 10 years of Restructuring/Corporate Finance/Accounting
- Strong analytical, communication and quantitative skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and relevant financial modelling programmes
- Strong presentation and communication skills

Salary : $250,000 - $320,000
