JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are searching for a self-motivated Mechanical Engineer to be based in Birmingham, AL with proven experience designing and drafting conveyor system parts using tools such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. You will create assemblies and modified assets to meet client requirements. You will conduct 3D building scans and collaborate with Senior Engineers. You will include working alongside other professionals to ensure deadlines are met, liaising with external stakeholders, attending meetings, using industry software to produce detailed designs, and ensuring all projects remain within budgetary and time constraints.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
· Experience designing/drafting conveyor systems.
· Experience integrating mechanical designs into production or test environments.
· Experience working with either of the following: AutoCAD, Catia, MicroStation, etc
· Experience creating assemblies
· Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products.
· Expect 50% travel
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
