Position: Tooling Coordinator
Location: Boeing, SC

Reports to: Facility Manager
Department: North American Operations
Position Purpose:
Responsible for inventory transactions and tool management. Transactions can include but are not limited to data entry, data validation, routine audits, cycle counts, continuous improvement activities, and Q&A regarding spare parts, parts availability, and parts substitutions. Tool management responsibilities can include but are not limited to tool box repair and maintenance, laser foam cutting, and laser etching.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
- Works safely at all times.
- Summarizing and reporting operational requirements
- Analyzing data to identify opportunities to improve
- Developing products and tools for various inventory tracking and evaluation processes
- Research on and resolve Daily Shortage root cause.
- Ensure daily floor walks and receive docks to investigate and resolve material issues.
- Manage material Phase In/Phase Out and reduce inventory levels. (Cost Savings)
- Reduce obsolete material. (Cost Savings)
- Check and act on messages from computerized inventory systems.
- Check, verify, label, put away all incoming stock daily.
- Daily Goods Received, Daily Goods issued report.
- Assistance with all inventory needs
- Customer Service
- Cycle Counts
- Forklift operation
- Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
- All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required
- Proficient with use of Microsoft software and applications
- Previous experience with SAP, Maximo, or equivalent asset/inventory management software preferred
- Previous experience with vector design software preferred (Adobe Illustrator, Lightburn, or equivalent)
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred

- Required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; climb or balance; kneel, crawl, stoop, or crouch.
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
- Work is performed in an office environment with significant time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
