Position: Team Member Logistics
Location: Toledo, OH

Department: North American Operations
Position Purpose: Optimize transportation, inventory management, and distribution processes to meet customer objectives. This role fosters team collaboration and ensures that all logistics activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
· Works safely at all times.
· Ability to comfortably drive motor vehicles.
· Transporting newly manufactured vehicles from point A to point B.
· Scanning vehicles for inventory management.
· Visual inspections of vehicles for damage.
· Ability to obey traffic laws, posted speed limits, etc.
· Operating in various weather conditions.
· Review current best practices resulting in efficiencies relating to time, material usage, and safety.
· Live "Safety is Your Life" Program. Use proper personal protective equipment, i.e., hearing protection, steel-toed shoes if required, safety glasses, etc., as required for the task at hand.
· Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
· All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

Position Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not necessary.
· Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
· Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
· Valid driver's license or CDL.
· Clean driving record.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:
· Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces from 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
· Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
· Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
Qualifications:
