JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Grounds Maintenance Manager
Location: Spring Hill, TN
Job Type: On-site (100%)
Reports to: Complex Manager
Department: North American Operations
Position Purpose: Effectively plan, organize, and supervise all functions of grounds maintenance including safety, people, facility planning, budgeting, sustainability, equipment management, and project management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.

- Effectively communicate necessary information and status updates to manager and customer.

- Develop and maintain KPI metrics and communicate monthly.
- Focuses on labor, equipment, and tools allocation, best practice guidelines, and continuous improvement.
- Manage all required Leadec and customer reporting processes.
- Actively attend all required meetings.
- Develop and maintain strong standardized work.
- Reduce safety risk within all tasks assigned.
- Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively
- All other duties assigned by Leadec Manager.
- Plan and schedule team members to ensure site maintenance and care that meets customer delivery and quality standards.
- Ensure team is well trained and compliant with all standardized work associated with task.
- Promote and continuously improve quality standards and scheduled delivery of grass mowing, trimming, and weed control services to manage vegetation growth while minimizing negative impact to the environment.
- Protect the appearance of plants, turf, and trees by understanding and applying methods to support plant health and care.
- Monitor, repair, order and replace campus road signage when required.
- Maintain site fire ponds, waterways, dams, and streams.
- Maintain grounds equipment through the PM maintenance program to ensure equipment is ready for operation and performs to schedule.
- Manage the site snow plan assuring that materials, equipment, personnel, and contract labor are trained, and ready for deployment.
- Manage animal control through contract with USDA.
- Manage outside pest control through contract with pest service provider.
- Manage outside rack and storage areas.
- Manage site boundaries by repairing fences, mowing access roads and management of vegetation.
- Develop and administer environmental projects to promote and sustain the site.
- Develop plans to continually beautify the site.
- Support special site events.
- Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
- All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a large facility and grounds maintenance is preferred.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:
- Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; climb or balance; kneel, crawl, stoop, or crouch.
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
- Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
