Position: IT Co-op
Location: Leadec Corp, Blue Ash OH
Reports to: Director of IS
Department: North American Operations
Position Purpose: To provide support for various operation and maintenance systems for the internal corporate environment and local users as well as support for remote site networks that we administer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
· Works safely at all times.
· Promote teamwork within the I/T group.
· Assume daily support responsibilities and ensure backup and recovery of network data.
· Provide support against outside intrusion & virus infection.
· Data entry of equipment into the corporate Asset Maintenance system for non-staffed sites.
· Support installation and configuration of Internet services for remote sites.
· Perform hardware and software installations, updates and upgrades.
· Provide troubleshooting support for PC and cell phone systems.
· Assist in the setup and distribution PC's for internal and remote use.
· Track and Update Internal I/T asset Database.
· Execute unit and system testing of new software releases.
· Document procedures to ensure that knowledge, skills and expertise are available to all users.
· Work with outside vendors and consultants.
· Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
· All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

Position Qualifications:
· Knowledge of network and PC hardware - switches, routers, & hubs (Cisco, 3COM, Nokia, etc.) hard drives, memory, etc.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems ('XP, Windows 7).
· Knowledge of MS Office 2010 software package and various anti-virus solutions.
· Travel to remote sites as necessary.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:
· Required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low). Frequently required to stand, bend, walk and carry light items such as cables, software packages, CPU's, printers, monitors, etc. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; climb or balance; kneel, crawl, stoop, or crouch.
· Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
· Work is performed in an office environment with significant time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
