The ACC Member serving as a Community Engagement Specialist with MBAC will play a key role in expanding economic opportunity and supporting small business growth. Working alongside MBAC professionals and strategic partners, the Member will help connect rural entrepreneurs with essential business resources, strengthen local networks, and expand outreach to underrepresented communities. This includes conducting community outreach, supporting technical assistance delivery, and helping coordinate workshops, mentorship opportunities, and public engagement efforts that foster business development and economic resilience in the region.

By serving with MBAC, the ACC Member will help build a more inclusive and diverse business ecosystem, support job creation and retention, and contribute to the long-term economic vitality of rural Montana communities.
Experience
- Previous experience in community service, volunteer work, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
