Our client, a growing insurance agency based in Connecticut is looking to hire a Client Development Specialist/Producer grow their business/commercial lines market.
The producer will work closely with the agency founder to drive business development and the client experience.
The right candidate should be entrepreneurial in nature but values training, a playbook and guaranteed compensation while they build a book of business.
The right candidate should have experience and a passion for business development, connecting with company stakeholders and have a general understanding of financial services, insurance and risk management industry. The Client Development Specialist/Producer Will be responsible for the full client life cycle: from prospecting/identification to fact finding to client closes and review maintenance.
Role Highlights:
- For the right candidate, the agency will sponsor for the insurance license.
- There will be a base salary for this role in addition to unlimited upside potential based on sales.
- The role will be mostly remote.
- In addition to your own marketing and prospecting efforts, the agency will provide leads to call on.
- The agency is hiring one person to work closely with the founder, mitigating common obstacles in larger agencies with large agent teams.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in sales
- Insurance experience (commercial lines) preferred.
- Ability to drive client conversations
- Ability to work independently
- Bachelors degree preferred
