The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and pipelines, as well as ensuring the quality and reliability of our data. The successful candidate will work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data is accurate, accessible, and secure. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Design and implement data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure efficient data processing and storage. Ensure the quality and reliability of data, including identifying and resolving data inconsistencies, errors, and anomalies. Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements. Monitor and optimize data performance, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise. Keep up to date with new technologies and approaches to data engineering and recommend improvements to our data infrastructure. Performs other related duties as required. Required Skills/Abilities: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5 years of experience as a data engineer with expertise in data modelling and ETL techniques. 2 years of experience with proven success building data warehouses using Snowflake. Expertise in handling structured, semi-structure and unstructured data sources. Experience implementing cloud native data pipeline architectures using Azure or AWS. Proficiency with SQL and Python to manipulate large data sets. Preferred Skills/Abilities: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Experience with data visualization tools such as Domo, Tableau or Power BI.
