This full-time position as a field service engineer requires you to perform on-site calibration and repairs in house or at our client's facility. The candidate will use their troubleshooting, repair and calibration knowledge to complete the service and strive for total client satisfaction. Job Description Benefits: 401K with match 2 weeks vacation and 6 paid holidays Cell Phone stipend Ample opportunities for advancement/ growth Essential Functions · Perform calibrations, repairs and validations of laboratory equipment to ISO 17025 standards. · Troubleshoot issues with equipment using various tools such as multimeters, thermometers, process calibrators. · Complete all documentation associated with service order. · Develop calibration procedures to meet the customer requirements while supporting traceability of the measurements. · Maintain all equipment and standards per SOP's. · Calibration Services – Autoclaves, Balances, calipers, floor and RTtop centrifuges, peristaltic pumps, pressure and vacuum gauges, magnahelic gauges, data loggers shakers and CO2 incubators. · PM services – Able to perform a PM on all above equipment. · General Repairs to equipment · Other tasks as directed. Requirements · 2 or more years technical field experience with a proven track record of technical resolutions. · 1 or more years laboratory related experience required · Calibration experience in multiple disciplines (temperature, pressure, speed, mass, etc.). · Refrigeration experience required. · Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001 and OSHA preferred, but not required. · Any technical mechanics (HVAC, motors, electrical, etc.) experience preferred · Strong time management and task management abilities · Able to effectively complete tasks and work independently with minimal supervision Work Environment · Small-to-large office environment. · Fast paced work environment. · The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. · Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments. · Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products and noise. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of office and facilities equipment (cleaning products, tools, and ladders) and trash and the ability to safely use equipment provided. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Climb a ladder to perform repairs.
