Description
We seek polished and welcoming Hosts to join our team at Bar Moon in Post Oak, an immersive cocktail destination where every detail — from design to service — is crafted to inspire elegance, intrigue, and indulgence. Bar Moon is the newest addition to The Bastion Collection, a global leader in fine dining and luxury hospitality with a portfolio distinguished by 10 Michelin Stars and 3 Michelin Keys since 2019.

As the first point of contact, the Host sets the tone for the guest experience. This role requires professionalism, warmth, and an ability to balance efficiency with gracious hospitality. The Host is responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and supporting the FOH team to ensure seamless service throughout the evening.

Your Responsibilities:
• Warmly welcome each guest and set the tone for the experience at Bar Moon.
• Manage reservations and seating flow through OpenTable or Resy, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with the service team to ensure smooth guest transitions between the lounge, bar, and tables.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and assist in resolving concerns with professionalism.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entry and host stand area.
• Support FOH operations as needed, contributing to an overall elevated guest experience.

Your Qualifications:
• 1–2 years of experience as a host or in a guest-facing role in luxury hospitality, hotels, or nightlife.
• Proficiency with reservation platforms such as OpenTable or Resy preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the venue with ease.
