The Recipe for Success: Role Summary
As our Store Manager, you are responsible for the overall performance and daily operations of your Le Creuset store. You will lead and develop a high-performing team, drive sales and key performance results, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure excellence in visual merchandising, inventory management, and operational execution. As a collaborative and adaptable leader, you will create a positive and accountable store culture while bringing the Le Creuset brand to life through hospitality, product expertise, and a genuine passion for cooking, baking, and entertaining.
Ingredients: Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales and Profitability: Own store performance by achieving sales, conversion, productivity, and profitability goals while effectively managing payroll and other controllable expenses.
- Lead and Develop the Team: Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and retain a high-performing team. Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, address performance concerns, and foster a positive and accountable work environment.
- Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience: Lead by example to ensure every customer receives personalized service, expert product guidance, and a joyful, premium Le Creuset brand experience.
- Oversee Store Operations: Manage all aspects of daily store operations, including scheduling, cash management, inventory accuracy, visual merchandising, loss prevention, safety, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze and Improve Performance: Review sales reports, KPIs, customer trends, and operational results to identify opportunities and implement action plans that support business growth.
- Build Strong Partnerships: Communicate store performance, staffing needs, and business priorities to leadership while collaborating with Retail, Human Resources, and other support teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous management experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer-focused service environment
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing employees, managing performance, and creating an accountable team culture
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand sales results, KPIs, staffing needs, and operational priorities
- Excellent communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as point-of-sale systems and handheld or laptop devices
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule based on business needs, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to remain active on the sales floor for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift or carry up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and developing high-performing teams
