Position Overview
We're looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Event Booker to secure high-quality event locations throughout the Bay Area.
You'll be responsible for making 60 - 70 calls a day building relationships with store managers, community organizations, and event coordinators to schedule fundraising events in locations such as:
- Grocery Stores
- Farmers Markets
- Shopping Centers
- Retail Stores
- Community Festivals
- Local Events
- Business Expos
- Seasonal Community Events
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys networking, building professional relationships, and making a real impact behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify high-traffic event opportunities throughout the Bay Area
- Contact businesses and event organizers by phone, email, and sometimes in person
- Secure event locations that align with our nonprofit fundraising campaigns
- Build long-term relationships with store managers and event coordinators
- Maintain an organized booking calendar
- Confirm upcoming events and communicate details with internal leadership
- Follow up with existing partners to schedule recurring events
- Represent LDI Promotions professionally in every interaction
- Help ensure our fundraising teams always have successful event locations
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly and professional personality
- Comfortable making phone calls and building new relationships
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong time management skills
- Basic computer skills (Google Calendar, Microsoft Office, email)
- Previous experience in event coordination, scheduling, sales, customer service, hospitality, or business development is a plus but not required.
