Maintain a safe, productive work environment for the employees satisfying LCEC quality standards and policy.
Assist manager/supervisor to maintain departmental processes and metrics. Develop and maintain reports and metrics to ensure department efficiency.
Contribute to the development of the Capital Budget, forecasts and reporting.
Develop and maintain ten-year work plan with engineers/SMEs
Coordinate Projects (Transmission, Substation, Distribution, Distributed Generation, etc.)
Coordinate project development with engineers/SMEs
Create business cases for proposed projects.
◦ Track business case approval processes.
◦ Establish project scope and requirements.
◦ Provide project cost estimates for budget.
Coordinate project schedules.
◦ Track material orders and deliveries.
◦ Identify critical path, milestones for capital projects
◦ Identify resources needed for capital project execution
◦ Track project progress and cost.
Coordinate project closure
◦ Verify as-built drawings and documentation are completed.
◦ Ensure project assets are identified for the accounting as-built process.
◦ Verify that project work order(s) are closed.
Assist other Division and Department personnel as needed
Serve as the OBS & Engineering subject matter expert for NISC work order creation.
Maintain effective working relationships with contractors and LCEC employees, customers and other stakeholders. Ensure smooth operations, productive communications, and effective understanding during interpersonal communications. Provide current and accurate information to all requests, courteously and in a timely manner.
Support Storm Restoration efforts when needed. Work in emergency storm situations (i.e. hurricanes) and work long hours (>12 hours per day) for many continuous days/weeks as needed.
Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
