Job Summary:
The Director of Finance will serve as a strategic and operational leader responsible for the overall financial management and direction of the organization. This role will oversee financial planning, accounting operations, revenue cycle performance, acquisition analysis, strategic growth initiatives, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial leadership, operational analysis, and healthcare finance, with the ability to support executive decision-making through accurate reporting, forecasting, and strategic insight. The Director of Finance will work closely with executive leadership to drive organizational growth, operational efficiency, and long-term financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership and Oversight
-Lead all financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
-Develop and implement financial strategies that support company growth and operational objectives.
-Provide executive leadership with timely and accurate financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
-Monitor organizational financial performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost optimization.
-Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Accounting & Reporting
-Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and financial statement preparation.
-Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
-Coordinate and manage annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
-Maintain and improve accounting systems, financial controls, and reporting processes.
Revenue Cycle & Central Billing Office Oversight
-Provide strategic oversight of the Central Billing Office (CBO) and revenue cycle management functions.
-Monitoring billing operations, collections performance, denial management, reimbursement trends, and payer performance.
-Partner with operational leadership to improve revenue integrity and maximize reimbursement opportunities.
-Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing and collections to drive operational improvements.
Acquisition & Strategic Analysis
-Support mergers, acquisitions, and growth initiatives through financial due diligence and strategic analysis.
-Evaluate acquisition opportunities, investment strategies, and expansion initiatives.
-Prepare financial models, pro forma analyses, and business case evaluations for executive leadership.
-Assist with integration planning and financial oversight related to acquired entities.
Leadership & Collaboration
-Partner closely with executive leadership to support strategic planning and organizational decision-making.
-Build and lead high-performing finance and accounting teams.
-Foster collaboration across departments to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
-Present financial information and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Other Duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
-Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational finance.
-Experience overseeing revenue cycle management and/or Central Billing Office operations preferred.
-Experience supporting acquisitions, mergers, or strategic growth initiatives preferred.
-Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
-Advanced proficiency with financial systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
-QuickBooks experience preferred.
Education & Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
-CPA, MBA, or other advanced financial certification preferred.
-Minimum of 5–10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
-Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
-Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
-Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
-Must be able to access various departments of a given location.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
