HR Generalist

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly organized HR Generalist with benefits exp to support operations for a stable manufacturing organization. This role will primarily focus on employee benefits administration, payroll coordination, while also providing limited administrative support to leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience with benefits administration, payroll processes, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
Benefits Administration
- Serve as liaison between employees and benefits providers, brokers, and insurance representatives
- Manage benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries
- Maintain accurate benefits records and support annual open enrollment processes
Payroll Support
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate employee data in payroll systems
- Support expense review and reconciliation processes
HR Administration
- Manage HRIS data entry including new hires, status changes, and terminations
- Coordinate pre-employment activities including offer letters, background checks, drug screens, employment verifications, and onboarding documentation
- Maintain confidential employee records and ensure proper document retention
Administrative & Operational Support (20% of the Job)
- Assist with scheduling, travel coordination, and occasional leadership support
- Support internal events, client meetings, and office functions
Qualifications
- Experience with benefits administration and payroll processes
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential employee information with discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to digitize old records during downtime
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work as a quick reactionary element with ebbs and flows in activity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Rippling, iSolved, or Paycor
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
