Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sr. HR Generalist to provide hands-on HR support at our La Vergne, TN facility. This is a full-time, permanent role supporting managers and employees across all HR functions, from recruiting through off-boarding, while ensuring compliance with policies and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with site leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals and drive organizational value.
- Support talent management, employee relations, change management, performance management, safety, wellness, and other people initiatives.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard qualified candidates, collaborating with managers on skills and competencies required for open positions.
- Coach front-line supervisors on employee relations, performance management, and workplace issues.
- Administer HR programs including compensation, leaves, disciplinary actions, and policy compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support a productive, compliant, and engaged workforce.
- 3 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing or similar environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations.
- Strong coaching and guidance skills for managers and employees.
- Knowledge of manufacturing labor laws, regulations, and safety compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple HR initiatives independently and effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems; SuccessFactors experience preferred.
