LB Capital is seeking a full-time In-House Counsel for its on-site location in Philadelphia, PA. The In-House Counsel will provide legal counsel across all business operations, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, draft and negotiate contracts, and oversee corporate governance matters. The role also involves identifying potential legal risks, advising on employment law issues, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and protecting the intellectual property of the company. This position requires proactive collaboration with leadership and other business functions to manage legal activities effectively and mitigate risks while driving strategic initiatives.
- Expertise in Contract Drafting, Review, and Negotiation
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Governance and Regulatory Compliance
- Experience in Employment Law and Labor Relations
- Understanding of Mergers, Acquisitions, and Transactional Law
- Proficiency in Intellectual Property Law and Risk Mitigation
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law
