Layth’s Halal Breakfast & Grill is looking for an experienced Part-Time Barista to join our opening team! While this location is new, we proudly own and operate three successful restaurants and are excited to build a dependable, welcoming team from the very beginning.
Position Details
- Part-Time: 20–24 hours per week
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Competitive pay based on experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages with consistency and attention to detail.
- Ensure all beverages meet our quality and presentation standards.
- Keep the espresso bar clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.
- Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, lids, and other barista supplies as needed.
- Maintain espresso machines and coffee equipment according to cleaning and maintenance procedures.
- Monitor inventory and communicate when supplies are running low.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is required.
- Knowledge of espresso machines and milk steaming techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality beverages.
