Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Handle retail sales transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly service to enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, ensuring proper cash register operations and balancing shifts
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods as needed during busy periods

Qualifications

• Prior barista experience or café experience is highly preferred; enthusiasm for coffee culture is a plus!
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and POS transactions
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light equipment or supplies, and work in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $21.18 - $24.12 per hour
