**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Rig Operator to join our team.
As a Pump Rig Operator, you will be responsible for operating a pump hoist equipment on a variety of job sites across Southern Idaho, Northern Utah, and Northern Nevada. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the ground wate industry, a valid commercial driver's license, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Duties:**
- Operate a pump hoist and boom trucks. All hydraulic equipment, Semco pump hoists (S25,000 & S30,000) and Hunke (60T) equipment in fleet currently.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition to prevent accidents or breakdowns.
- Load and unload materials using heavy equipment, including forklifts, boom trucks, and loaders periodically.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations on jobsite to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate equipment operation and ensure that job timelines are met.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections of equipment to identify any issues or defects.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
**Experience:**
- Proven experience operating pump hoists pulling and setting submersible and line-shaft turbine pump assemblies. 2-5 year operator experience preffered.
- A valid commercial driver's license and a good driving record. Class A prefered, Class B required to drive pump truck.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. We work in three man crews and service pump setttings anywhere from 40' to 700' in depth.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in operating pump hoist equipment.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols and regulations.
- Experience with construction equipment and tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
