Position Summary:
Layline Oil and Gas LLC is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Gas Processing Plant Operator to operate and maintain gas compression, treating, and processing equipment. The Operator will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of plant systems, including compressors, amine unit, JT skid, and telemetry, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This is an hourly position with overtime opportunities and a full benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, operate, and adjust gas compressors, amine treating systems, JT skids, and associated process equipment to maintain optimal plant performance. This is a sour gas facility and safety protocols must be observed.
- Observe gauges, flow meters, and telemetry data to ensure stable operation and identify any deviations or equipment issues.
- Perform daily rounds and record operating parameters such as pressures, temperatures, and flow rates.
- Operate and monitor telemetry systems to track remote site and plant performance.
- Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of compressors, pumps, separators, and other mechanical and process equipment.
- Maintain proper amine strength, circulation rates, and chemical balances in treating systems.
- Start up, shut down, and adjust process systems as required for maintenance or operational changes.
- Troubleshoot process upsets and mechanical problems to minimize downtime.
- Collect and test samples as needed for process control and environmental compliance.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs, reports, and production data.
- Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with company safety and environmental policies.
- Coordinate with field operators, measurement personnel, and supervisors to optimize gas flow and production efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or process operations training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating gas plants, compressor stations, or related facilities.

Pay: $ $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
