Lawyers On Demand, a Consilio company, is actively recruiting for a Senior Coordinator in Learning and Development (L&D) for an on-site position for one of our prestigious law firm clients in Washington, D.C. The Senior Coordinator in Learning and Development will be instrumental in advancing the professional growth of employees across the firm and will focus on creating, delivering, and managing impactful learning programs tailored to the needs of diverse legal and business teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, expertise in learning strategies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.Position OverviewThe Senior Coordinator will oversee multiple learning initiatives simultaneously, ensuring programs are executed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include planning, logistics, and coordination for programs that vary in length—from one-hour sessions to multi-week courses—and delivery formats, including in-person, virtual, and eLearning.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement learning programs aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives.Co-facilitate workshops and professional development sessions.Create timelines, planning documents, and milestones for new learning content.Manage program registration, invitations, attendance tracking, and travel details using tools such as LMS, Outlook, and learning materials publishing tools.Handle pre-program logistics: maintain planning documents, schedule meetings, set up Zoom sessions, polls, and breakout rooms.Organize and produce program materials.Coordinate post-program activities: debrief sessions, lessons learned, and evaluation summaries via SurveyMonkey and other tools.Support on-site and virtual program delivery, including registration desk management and Zoom production.Liaise with internal faculty and external consultants: schedule briefing calls, draft communications, review materials, upload content, and process expenses.Contribute to instructional design and leverage learning technologies, including hybrid formats.Research emerging trends, tools, and vendors in learning and development.Create and edit presentations, tracking documents, surveys, and other materials for L&D initiatives.Provide project management and administrative support for eLearning content development and tracking.Respond proactively to requests, anticipate needs, and suggest process improvements.Offer creative ideas and efficient solutions.Provide administrative support to department leaders, including meeting logistics, presentations, and data analysis.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsProficiency in MS Office, iPublish, and other relevant technologies.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Positive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to thrive under pressure.Comfortable in a fast-paced, professional environment.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Strong collaboration and independent work skills.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to troubleshoot and improve processes.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience in professional development or event/meeting planning strongly preferred.Work HoursMonday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with flexibility for additional hours as needed.LOD is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
