Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a solid understanding of financial concepts, and general ledger management. The Bookkeeper will play a critical role in supporting our organization’s financial health through precise record-keeping and reporting.
Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounting and perform balance sheet reconciliation
- Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring proper debits & credits application
- Conduct bank reconciliation to verify account accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
- Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings
- Utilize various accounting software such as QuickBooks, and other financial tool
- Conduct regular account reconciliation to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Maintain meticulous records through effective bookkeeping practices, including detailed transaction documentation
- Two- or three-years' experience in bookkeeping preferred with willingness to learn and assist with Company deadlines.
- Pay invoices, process customer payments, reconcile business and escrow accounts
- Maintain records and receipts
- Assist with general office duties
- Prepare for audits.
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel
- Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation techniques
- Familiarity with payroll processing, tax regulations, and related compliance requirements
- Ability to perform detailed financial analysis, including account analysis and account reconciliation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Pay: $22.46 - $27.05 per hour
