Lawson Manor & Rehab is a 60-bed skilled nursing facility providing short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and specialized memory care in our dedicated female dementia unit. We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our residents.
Whether you are an experienced CNA or interested in starting a rewarding healthcare career, we'd love to meet you! CNA classes and on-the-job training are available for qualified candidates.
Qualifications
Current Missouri CNA certification required.
Previous healthcare or caregiving experience is helpful but not required
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide respectful, resident-centered care
Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
Take and record vital signs and promptly report changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse.
Assist residents with transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
Provide compassionate emotional support, companionship, and encouragement while promoting resident dignity and independence.
Answer resident call lights promptly and assist with resident needs.
Observe, document, and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental status.
Assist with restorative care and rehabilitation activities as directed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Follow infection prevention procedures and all facility safety policies.
Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional resident care.
