As a Science Teacher, your area of expertise will be used to enrich the academic lives of the students at Arlington Elementary School. Experience with multilingual learners and inclusion practices, including collaborative planning, are recommended. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Salary: $61,788.00-$83,566.00
- The ideal candidate possesses a belief that all students are capable of learning and enjoys working with a strong grade-level team. Teacher responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating academically rigorous lesson plans, materials, and assessments utilizing the KnowAtom curriculum and the Massachusetts STE Frameworks
- Incorporating technology into lesson activities
- Overseeing one homeroom class and one advisory class
- Maintaining homeroom cumulative folders
- Participating in grade-level and content vertical planning meetings
- Attending IEP, 504, student support, and team meetings
- Participating in curriculum night, report card night(s), and building meetings area to support instructional delivery and student needs. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in collaborating with social service agencies.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills.
- Proficient in English.
- Bilingual Candidates Preferred.
- Experience with at-risk youth. Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Guidance, Human Services, School Psychology, or Social Work.
- Massachusetts Certification as a School Counselor, School Adjustment Counselor, Guidance Counselor, School Social Worker, or School Psychologist.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in the field of counseling, education, guidance, or social work
