Position Summary: Arlington Elementary School is seeking a Grade 3 teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate believes that all students are capable of learning. Experience with co-teaching and inclusion practices, including collaborative planning, is recommended. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of early childhood development and best instructional practices
• Teaching core content classes in a self-contained classroom/homeroom: ELA(CKLA), Mathematics(Envisions), Science, and Social Studies
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using instructional technology
• Cultural competency and commitment to serving a diverse student population
• Capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Willingness to reflect on practice and implement feedback
• Attending IEP, 504, student support, and team meetings
• Participating in grade-level and content vertical planning meetings
• Participating in schoolwide positive behavior support protocols Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Experience in collaborating with social service agencies.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• Proficient in English.
• Bilingual Candidates Preferred. Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Valid Massachusetts DESE teaching license
• SEI (Sheltered English Immersion) endorsement required
• Experience teaching in urban public school settings preferred
• Successful completion of all pre-employment requirements
