Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Lawrence, KS. The Accountant will be responsible for financial reporting, general ledger management, account reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Additional responsibilities include preparing financial statements, assisting with audits, and analyzing financial data to provide insights for decision-making. Collaboration with other departments to maintain fiscal accuracy and efficiency is also a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and general ledger management
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and compliance standards
- Experience with accounting software and spreadsheets, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Effective problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in manufacturing or a similar industry is an advantage
