Position will oversee the following Subject Areas:
-Math
-Biomedical and Computer Science Pathways
The Pathway Supervisor will:
-Work with the Head of School, Assistant Head of School, and Principals to ensure the vertical and interdisciplinary alignment of curriculum with a focus on Mathematics
-Work with the Head of School, Assistant Head of School, Principals, and Instructional Leadership Team members to create, implement and review common assessments
-Contribute to the creation and delivery of professional development activities
-Supervise teachers and lead departments by scheduling meetings, setting agendas, promoting shared ownership, and ensuring the effective collaboration of teachers to accelerate student outcomes
-Oversee and support Math intervention programming and progress monitoring
-Lead regularly scheduled meetings of Math leaders to align on curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment
-Serve on the Campus ILT, analyzing and interpreting data. Share data, patterns, and trends for the Campus and guide colleagues in action planning to improve measurable outcomes for all LHS students.
INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP
-Support Administrators and ILT members in the implementation of the LHS Instructional Vision, “Rigor through Collaboration”
-Support Deans\Instructional Coaches in maximizing teacher content team and common planning time with a focus on designing and implementing Tier I and II instruction
-Leading Campus Instructional Leadership Team data cycles on Tier I and II instruction
-Collaborate with instructional leaders to improve co-teaching in Math with a focus on Tier II instruction
-Support Math intervention teachers with curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Develop professional learning activities and connect teachers through a PLC model.
-Serve as liaison between intervention course teachers and curriculum partners
-Gather and analyze data regularly to assess impact of intervention courses and action plan to improve impact and results
-Oversee document collection for the SQR process
-Participate in the school improvement process through goal setting and implementation as well as data analysis for instructional improvement.
-Support LHS Pathways to make measurable progress on focus areas
