What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Aide position at Lawrence Healthcare?
Job Objective/Summary: The Laundry Aide is responsible for operating washers and dryers. Must be able to use judgment on unusually soiled linens and know when to use additional suds or bleach. Must understand importance of aseptic technique, job and fire regulations.
Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience: A High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read, write and follow directions. Laundry experience in a Healthcare setting is preferred.
