Senior Software Engineer | Core Platform Teams | $335k-$400k Total Comp

Compensation
Total target compensation ranges from $335k to $400k, comprised of a $210k to $260k base salary plus an employee equity grant. Comprehensive benefits included.
The Role
You will design, build, and operate the scalable services powering an ultra high-throughput ecommerce platform. This includes ownership of architectural decisions, performance optimization, and system reliability at scale, working in Go, Scala, Java, C#, or TypeScript.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain services handling massive transaction volume
- Drive performance improvements that impact latency, reliability, and cost
- Own production systems end to end, including incident response and on-call rotation
- Contribute to system design reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Apply AI tooling and LLMs to improve engineering velocity
What We're Looking For
- 4 years of experience building and operating distributed systems
- Proficiency in one or more of: Go, Scala, Java, C#, or TypeScript
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Deep expertise in at least one of the following: high-throughput distributed systems, data engineering (Kafka, Spark, Cassandra, Iceberg, Trino), MLOps, site reliability engineering, or web/mobile SDKs at scale

This role follows a hybrid schedule based out of Austin, TX.
