Global Process Owner – Finance (ERP Transformation)
Overview
We are seeking a Global Process Owner (Finance) to support a major enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation initiative. This role will lead the design and standardization of global Finance processes, helping transition from a legacy ERP platform to a modern cloud-based solution.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and subject matter experts to define future-state processes, identify gaps, and implement scalable solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and operational effectiveness. This position requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution within a complex global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Global Process Ownership & Design
- Lead the design and standardization of global Finance processes.
- Collaborate with regional and local stakeholders to identify business requirements and localization needs.
- Define end-to-end workflows, controls, user roles, and process documentation.
- Ensure process consistency, compliance, and appropriate segregation of duties across the organization.
Governance & Compliance
- Support governance activities related to process and system design decisions.
- Evaluate and approve exceptions to standard processes where required.
- Ensure solutions align with internal controls, compliance requirements, and global operating standards.
- Contribute to role design and functional specification reviews.
Change Management & Adoption
- Support organizational change management activities and stakeholder engagement.
- Assist with impact assessments, training development, and user readiness planning.
- Oversee creation of standard operating procedures, user documentation, and testing scenarios.
- Support deployment activities and transition to business operations.
Data Management & Migration
- Provide guidance on data mapping, cleansing, validation, and migration activities.
- Support data governance and ownership models.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve data-related issues.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Analyze complex business challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Build strong relationships across global and cross-functional teams.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Balance strategic priorities with operational execution.
- Demonstrate adaptability, integrity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting or leading ERP implementations or large-scale business transformation initiatives.
- Strong background in process design, standardization, and optimization.
- Knowledge of financial controls, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial process transformation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work across global, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
