Position Summary: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), under the direct supervision of the OTR/L, assists with the occupational therapy, evaluation, and treatment of patients in individual and group settings. The COTA will also assist with the daily therapeutic responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Program. Experience and Education: Education: Associate Degree from a ACOTE accredited program. Certification/Licensure: Current COTA/L License from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required. Experience: Prior experience in Behavioral Health setting is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of related work in occupational therapy setting highly desired.
