Duties

• Assist customers with rental inquiries, processing transactions efficiently using POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Coordinate league schedules, register participants, and manage event logistics to ensure smooth operations
• Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions, offering directions, and resolving issues promptly
• Enforce safety protocols during events and daily operations, including manual handling and heavy lifting when setting up equipment or facilities
• Support event setup and breakdown, including outdoor work tasks such as equipment transportation and venue preparation
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to maintain a positive environment
• Deliver first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring safety remains a top priority during all activities

Skills

• Proven experience in events management or hospitality environments, with a strong focus on customer service excellence
• Ability to handle conflict effectively and maintain composure in high-pressure situations
• Knowledge of safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification preferred
• Experience working with children or in youth sports leagues is highly desirable
• Skilled in retail sales techniques, cash handling, and processing transactions accurately using POS systems
• Comfortable performing manual handling tasks and heavy lifting safely during setup or cleanup activities
• Excellent communication skills for public speaking, guest interactions, and team collaboration
• Familiarity with outdoor work environments and venue experience enhances your ability to adapt quickly

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
