  • Work independently to organize daily responsibilities, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines with minimal direction.
  • Provide appropriate interim support for departmental operations in the absence of the Director of Materials Management, within established procedures and assigned responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with hospital policies, procedures, safety standards, and applicable requirements.
  • Contribute to departmental performance by supporting accurate inventory management, efficient workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy, organization, and process consistency.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and the ability to interact professionally with staff across hospital departments.
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to supporting the needs of clinical and nonclinical departments.
  • Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
