Duties

• Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to ensure lush, healthy turf.
• Operate hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and hoes to maintain gardens and landscaped areas.
• Use power tools including trimmers, blowers, and aerators to execute precise landscape tasks.
• Manage landscape maintenance projects from planting beds to hardscape installations like patios or walkways.
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote tree health and safety.
• Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering efficiency.
• Utilize excavators and other construction equipment for larger landscape projects or site preparation.
• Provide snow plowing services during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate progress with team members or clients.
• Follow safety protocols when handling equipment or working in construction environments to ensure a secure workspace.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery and hand tools.
• Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture.
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and plant care.
• Experience using power tools such as trimmers, blowers, or excavators is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and tree care practices is a plus.
• Prior experience in snow plowing or winter outdoor maintenance is beneficial but not required.

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
