Position Summary
This is a generalist role on the Billing Team. Reports to the Assistant Director of Patient Accounting. Responsible for performing day-to-day tasks to ensure timely billing, collections, and payment postings for services provided by LCHC providers, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Organized and data-driven
- Experience with Athena Practice or Epic a plus
- Experience in dealing with Insurance Companies a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate, pursue solutions, and problem-solve with internal and external parties
- Ability to collaborate closely with teammates as well as work autonomously
- Ability to work efficiently using technology-based tools and processes
Required Knowledge, Experience, or Licensure/Registration
- High School diploma
- 2 years related experience in healthcare w/ emphasis in operations, billing, and administration
- Well versed in computers, internet work, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of LCHC’s practice management system is preferred
