Job Description:
The Lawn Care Technician will be responsible for their own route in which they will analyze turf and ornamental conditions and apply the appropriate products.
Successful candidates will have a high attention to detail, a growth mindset, and a focus on exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are NOT limited to:
- Serving a territory of residential and commercial customers
- Providing professional lawn care with a focus on excellent customer service
- Proper application techniques and compliance with State Department of Agriculture standards, rules, and regulations
- Completion of required paperwork
- Loading assigned vehicle
- Maintaining a clean vehicle and equipment
- Assist in the training of new lawn technicians
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience in lawn care
- Must be willing to work Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays
- Have valid state driver’s license with less than 4 points
- Be able to drive a truck/van and a pull-behind trailer
- Be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or more comfortably
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing exceptional customer experience
- Steel Green or similar ride-on application equipment experience
- Active Illinois pesticide applicator license

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. This position is very physical. Performance of the duties for this position will require that the employee use riding or walking equipment to treat the customers’ lawns and around their homes. As a Lawn Technician, you will be required to pay attention to your surroundings. All Lawn Squad technicians do their best to NOT cause any damage or harm to a customer’s property. Because we work in an industry that routinely deals with Mother Nature, Residential Lawn Technicians must be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions.
