What You’ll Do
- Operate a sod cutter and aerator
- Prepare soil (grading, leveling, and cleanup)
- Install sod tight, level, and clean—no gaps, no shortcuts
- Load and unload sod and materials
- Keep job sites clean and professional
- Experience with a sod cutter and aerator (or the ability to learn quickly)
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in Florida heat
- Strong attention to detail—this is not sloppy work
- Ability to tow a 7x16 trailer confidently
- Clean driving record (required)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Starting pay: $25/hour
- Performance bonuses for:
- Finishing jobs on time
- Delivering high-quality, callback-free work
What Success Looks Like
- No gaps, overlaps, or air pockets
- Clean edges and level finish
- Sod establishes strong roots within 2–3 weeks
- No customer complaints or callbacks
