What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care Applicator position at Lawn A Mat?
We have a position available in our Orange County location for a lawn care applicator/turf management specialist.
This position would be ideal for a candidate who wishes to pursue residential and commercial ornamental lawn care as a career. It would also provide experience towards golf course turf management.
The scope of this position includes:
- Seasonal, Full time, 40 hour, Monday – Friday work week. Occasional Saturdays during busy Spring season.
- Become familiar with all aspects of materials and application procedures involved in our lawn care program.
- Hands on training for adherence to safety, regulations and best practices.
- Gain valuable insight into weather and soil related issues.
- Be mentored in customer relations and successful business practices.
- A NY State DEC Applicators License 3A or B is required
I have over 30 years of hands on turf management experience and I am eager to pass along the practical knowledge I have accumulated by personally doing over 75,000 applications to someone who is eager to learn.
