Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. This role involves physical labor, operating machinery, and performing tasks related to groundskeeping, tree care, and hardscaping.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Assist in the installation of new landscaping features such as plants, trees, and hardscape elements.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Irrigate landscapes as needed to ensure healthy plant growth.
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to maintain safe access to properties.
- Dig trenches for planting or irrigation systems as required.
- Provide general groundskeeping services including debris removal and site clean-up.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools is essential.
- Knowledge of tree care practices and hardscaping techniques is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge will be beneficial for maintaining equipment used in landscape tasks.
