Lawn Care & Weed Control Technician

We are a fast-paced, professional lawn care company looking for experienced individuals to join our growing team. We provide high-quality lawn maintenance, weed control, and fertilization services throughout our service area. We take pride in doing the job right the first time and are looking for team members who share that same work ethic.
Experience is HIGHLY recommended.
Please do not apply if you do not have professional lawn care experience. Due to the current workload, we do not have time to provide extensive training. Mowing your own yard or a few neighbors' properties is not considered professional experience and will not qualify.
Responsibilities
- Perform weekly and bi-weekly lawn mowing services.
- Operate commercial zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers, and other professional lawn equipment.
- Perform weed control and fertilization applications according to company protocols.
- Identify common lawn weeds, turfgrass types, and basic lawn health issues.
- Follow all pesticide labels, safety procedures, and application regulations.
- Maintain clean, professional properties after every visit.
- Complete daily routes efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and team members.
Requirements
- Professional lawn care experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with commercial mowing equipment.
- Experience with weed control and fertilizer applications is preferred.
- Ability to work safely around chemicals while following all application procedures.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation to work.
- Ability to work outdoors in the Texas heat, cold, wind, rain, and other weather conditions.
- Ability to work 8–10 hour shifts while standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment.

Weed Control & Fertilization Expectations
Applicants with experience in lawn applications should be familiar with:
- Applying pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides.
- Fertilizer applications.
- Reading and following product labels.
- Mixing products correctly.
- Calibrating spreaders and sprayers.
- Following all company safety procedures and state regulations.
- Identifying common turfgrass weeds and lawn issues.
- Maintaining accurate application records when required.
