California Litigation Law Firm is seeking a Top-Notch Civil Litigation Paralegal with Trial Experience to work in Labor and Employment Defense in their San Diego, CA office.
- This is a full-time position, on-site, Monday - Friday.
Required and Preferred:
- Minimum 5 - 7 years plus of Paralegal experience supporting Litigation Attorneys in the State of California
- Must possess excellent research and writing skills with Westlaw and/or Lexis
- E-filing experience in local State and Federal Courts
- Experience with eDiscovery, preferably with iPro or other software
- Knowledge of the Legal procedures, Rules of Court, and Local Rules of Civil Procedure
- Proficient with Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Job Duties:
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents/pleadings
- Format court pleadings according to court rules
- E-filing in various courts as needed
- Research and writing
- Cite-check briefs, etc.
- Maintain case files
- Support Document Management and all discovery documents
- Help prepare for depositions and hearings
- Communicate with Witnesses and Experts
- Prepare for Trial
- Be organized and able to multitask and prioritize
