About the Role
The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contacts, setting claims and advocating for clients in court.
Responsibilities
- Provide representation for clients in court in legal cases as pertains to family law
- Uphold a steady schedule of hearings, court appearances, and conferences
- Attend trials and court proceedings
- Oversee and manage the legal issues that transpire between people who are members of the same family
- Provide guidance, advocacy, and support during emotionally challenging times
- Work to protect relationships, advocate for your rights, and help you find clarity and resolution
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate and admitted to practice law in New Jersey required.
- 4 years of experience in Family/Divorce/Matrimonial Law at a law practice in New Jersey.
- Presently working in a New Jersey Family Law Practice is mandatory.
