Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Immigration Paralegal role based in Brick, NJ. The candidate will assist with case preparation, including drafting and filing immigration forms, compiling supporting documentation, and corresponding with clients. Additional responsibilities include managing case deadlines, performing legal research, maintaining organized client files, and liaising with attorneys, clients, and relevant government agencies. This position requires strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Hands on understanding of U.S. immigration laws and processes
- Strong organizational, time management, and case management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and client communication
- Experience with CM/ECF required
- Experience working with immigration forms, case filings, and document preparation
- Familiarity with case management software and professional proficiency with computer systems and applications
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Previous experience in an immigration law office is required
- Paralegal certification is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in Spanish and English required
