Busy Bergen County law firm is seeking an experienced Office Admin/Paralegal/Legal Admin to join our team.
Tasks:
- Oversee billing by running reports, sending out bills, following up for payment, and charging
- Oversee files by maintaining Clio and Dropbox files, drafting closing file letters, and marking files closed and moving to Closed Files folder
- Depositing checks at bank when needed
- Mail, copy, scan as needed
- Oversee intake by answering the phones, completing intake forms for all potential new clients, following up as needed, and drafting and sending engagement letters as needed
- Oversee registered agent files by calendaring annual report due dates, notifying clients of items needed, and filing with the state
- Oversee real estate files by calendaring due dates, coordinating with realtors, opposing clients, title companies, and clients to ensure all documents are obtained
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Experience with Mac computers
- Expert level with juggling multiple softwares and technologies
- At least 5 years of experience in a law firm doing some or all of the tasks described above
- Self-starter who knows when to try to find an answer on your own and when to ask for help
- Experience at a firm wearing different hats and handling different types of cases or areas of law
Hours
9am-5pm, Mon-Fri.
