Role Description
We are seeking a Legal Assistant for a part-time, in-office role based in Gadsden, AL, with opportunities for remote work. The Legal Assistant will assist with file organization, communicating with clients, preparing legal documents, communicating with clients, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the attorney in various legal proceedings. The role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who excels in a dynamic work environment and is comfortable balancing in-office and remote responsibilities.
Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Calendly, and other computer-based programs
Excellent grammar and speedy typing
Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately
Experience in Legal Document Preparation and drafting clear and accurate documentation
Strong Communication skills, including client interaction and correspondence
Proficiency in Administrative Assistance and organizational tasks
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
Proficiency in legal software and office tools is highly advantageous
Previous experience in a law office or similar legal setting is a plus
