Job Summary:
We are a fast-paced real estate and estate planning law firm, looking to hire an ambitious employee who is looking for a part-time to full-time position to serve our clients in all aspects of real estate transactions. Compensation will be based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and managing correspondence
- Order payoffs, HOA Certifications, Surveys, etc.
- Prepare and balance HUDs, CDs, and ALTAs
- Loan package preparation and review
- Schedule closings, secure necessary information from all relevant parties for closings
- Assist with all facets of real estate transactions, from pre-closing to post-closing and accounting
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling and correspondence management
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Strong clerical skills to handle filing, document indexing, and record keeping
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
- Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant is highly desirable, specifically in the area of real estate law
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Qualia and Clio is a plus
