The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our Hackensack office on a hybrid basis. The primary focus of this role will be condominium and co-op law litigation — an active and growing area of the firm's practice involving disputes related to governance, unit-owner and board matters, common-area issues, assessment collections, and more. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work across other firm practice areas over time.
Prior experience in condominium/co-op law or any of our other specific practice areas is not required. We are committed to training and mentoring the right candidate. What matters most is a solid foundation in litigation and a genuine willingness to learn and take on the firm's work.
Responsibilities
- Handle a wide range of condominium and co-op litigation matters, including board governance disputes, unit owner claims, assessment collection proceedings, common element issues, and contract disputes
- Advise condominium associations and co-op boards on legal rights, obligations, and risk management in connection with litigation matters
- Handle additional litigation across the firm's other practice areas, including business disputes, real estate, employment, landlord-tenant, and municipal law and land use
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys
- Appear in state and federal court for hearings, oral arguments, and trial proceedings
- Manage discovery processes, including depositions and document review
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts professionally and effectively
- Assist with transactional matters and other firm work as needed
- Participate in firm-provided mentorship and training programs
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the New Jersey Bar (New York Bar a plus)
- 3 to 6 years of litigation experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage litigation files and handle court appearances independently

- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and work across the firm's diverse practice areas
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
