Job Title: Construction Litigation Attorney

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney to join our growing practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle complex construction disputes, representing contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers, and other industry stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in litigating cases from inception through resolution, advocating fiercely for our clients in courts and alternative dispute forums.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of construction litigation cases, including pre-suit investigation, pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
- Provide legal counsel on construction contracts, claims, mechanics’ liens, payment disputes, delay claims, defect claims, and related issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction agreements and related documents with a keen eye toward risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with clients to develop litigation strategies that align with their business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Texas Bar and good standing.
- Minimum 3-5 years of litigation experience with a significant portion focused on construction law.
- Proven track record handling construction disputes in Texas courts and alternative dispute forums.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in fast-paced environments.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 – $160,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
